Job Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a PHP WordPress Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing WordPress-based websites, Custom Plugins, Custom Themes. The ideal candidate will have experience in WordPress development, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, VueJS, HTML, and CSS.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in WordPress development, Core PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of WordPress coding and architecture standards
• Experience creating Custom Themes and Plugins
• Experience with WordPress multisite, WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques to enhance website speed and efficiency
• Experience in implementing and integrating RestAPI and OAuth 2.0 for various web services
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs for data exchange and functionality enhancement
• Experience with databases, including MySQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS)
• In-depth knowledge of web development concepts, HTTP protocol, and client-server architecture
• Strong understanding and application of OOP principles in PHP development
• Understanding of Web / WordPress security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities
• Experience with versioning systems like Git and SVN, and task managers like Gulp or Grunt
• Knowledge of design principles and User Experience (UX) Evaluation
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience jQuery plugin development
• Experience in VueJS
• Understanding of SEO best practices
